About us

Our Vision

Ottawa Agape Chinese Alliance Church is the first Chinese church established in community of Barrhaven. We are a proud family full of the love of Jesus Christ. In the church, believers are to take root in the Biblical truth, to imitate Jesus Christ, to be mission-minded disciples of Christ, to live out the true love of Christ, to care for our neighbors, and to preach the Gospel of Christ. As a result, each Jesus seeker in the community will be able to experience the Biblical truth and come to know Christ in our Church family. Whether you live in Barrhaven, Riverside South or Manotick,  I sincerely hope that our church will become a family of yours so that you and your family can experience and share the eternal true love of Christ and be blessed with the love of God. We welcome you to join our spiritual family!

Fourfold Gospel

The fourfold Gospel describes the historic emphasis of the Christian And Missionary Alliance on the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is our Saviour, our Sanctifier, our Healer, and our Coming King. These aspects of the ministry of Jesus is what defined the Christian And Missionary Alliance more than 100 years ago and continues to lay out the foundation of our work today. Our Saviour

The cross typifies Jesus Christ our Saviour. He died on a cross for our sins, and only through him can we be made right with God. (John 3:16)

Our Sanctifier

The laver illustrates Christ as our Sanctifier. The laver, a large basin used in God’s temple for washing, represents cleansing from sin by the power of the Holy Spirit.
(1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

Our Healer

The pitcher symbolizes Christ our Healer. It speaks of oil for divine life and physical healing. (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Our Coming King

The crown stands for Christ our Coming King. He will come back to this earth and reign forever. (Acts 1:11)
